Corissa here from Trigger Strategy Group. I troll Tom mercilessly for being a thought leader, and the truth is, sometimes he really is so deep in the thinkings that he can’t see the wood for the trees. So I’m the one popping up today with a juicy little invitation for you. Juicier than an orange that’s been injected with the juice of a whole nother orange.

We want to know what’s going on in the world of tech. (This includes product and design, and, well, most professions under the sun these days.)

and the Cynefin Company, we’ve put together a public platform for folks like you to tell the world what it’s like working in tech right now. The good, the bad, the downright hideous.

This is unlike any of the industry surveys you might have come across before. There’s no point in us trying to describe it. You need to see it for yourself.

Why are we doing this? Our goal is to help you (and us) make sense of this moment in time through loads of people’s actual experiences. Think of it as the opposite of the stuff in the news with all its hidden agendas. Exploring hundreds of personal tales from different people with different perspectives, all in one place, is normally impossible.

Reading through the responses so far, we see some that resonate with what we’ve been feeling, and others that open our eyes to totally different bubbles – different worlds. It’s a fascinating data set for you to explore.

One rather nice side effect we’ve heard about from the folks who’ve already taken part is that they found the processes of thinking about their situation to be… therapeutic.
